Angela is a knowledgeable educator who has years of experience both as a classroom teacher and working in various childcare settings. She earned her degree in teaching English as a second language to K-12 students, then completed additional coursework to become a licensed K-5 elementary teacher. She worked abroad teaching English in Indonesia before moving to Egypt where she taught first grade at an International school. Upon returning to the states, she taught first grade at a local charter school in Lafayette.  The next phase of her teaching career led her to the online classroom where she taught English to children of all ages.  While she enjoyed working with English language learners again, she missed the joy of teaching in person and decided to open Centennial Academy!  Centennial Academy officially opened in the fall of 2018 and has been offering a quality preschool program ever since!

 

Teaching in the preschool classroom has been one of the greatest joys of her career in education!  She enjoys sharing many of her hobbies in the classroom including playing ukulele, reading great books, and cooking!
